Baya Weavernest Cinemas is an independent film production company with a creative presence in both New York City and the South Asian subcontinent, Bangladesh.  

The company focuses on narrative fiction with a cross-cultural lens, developing stories that explore identity, displacement, and intimate human experiences across geographies. Baya Weavernest’s current slate includes an upcoming feature primarily set in New York City, with portions unfolding in Indian subcontinet, as well as another foreign-language project rooted entirely in the Asian subcontinent. Alongside feature development, the company has also produced several short films and remains committed to amplifying nuanced, globally relevant stories from emerging and underrepresented voices.
